Iran’s Saba Battery wins FIBA Asia Champions Cup

TEHRAN – Saba Battery of Iran was crowned at the 18th FIBA Asia Champions Cup with an 83-75 win over the Syrian basketball side Al Jala’a here Sunday.
Saba, which had defeated Al Jala’a 92-64 in their last confrontation, celebrated the title on the court of Azadi Sports Complex, where boisterous fans and top sports officials including Physical Education Organization Mohammad Aliabadi and Basketball Federation President Mahmud Mashhun were present.
Al Rayyan from Qatar took the third title.
